Those Revolving Thoughts Are Taking A Toll
You want to find a non-judgmental place to discuss your thoughts and feelings.
The days, years, and months keep flying by, but you feel stuck. You want help learning how to shift toward a more purposeful and fulfilling life.
Life dealt you a tough hand. You wonder if anything will ever feel “normal” again.
Your Own Worst Enemy
That negative self-talk is starting to send you on a downward spiral.
Your everyday life is overwhelming, and work is all-consuming.
There must be some shelter from the storm.
What if there was a way to move through life with less hurry and panic?
What if you could take the time to cherish what was right in front of you?
My approach focuses on YOU and YOUR needs.
When working with me, our session begins at the most human level. I meet you where you are – no expectations.
Your life is complex and layered like an onion. Your identity is cultivated from your experiences, people, and world around you.
Therapy is a journey that is unique to you. You set the tone in our sessions.
I’m here to help you cultivate curiosity about yourself so that you can become an expert on what it means to be uniquely you.
Some of the tools I use to help people on their journey toward living a more intentional life include mindfulness techniques, self-affirmation, goal attainment, establishing healthy boundaries, holistic wellness, and self-care practices.
In our sessions, we will build trust with an authentic and flowing conversation, maintain a warm atmosphere where you can dump your mind, and let the world’s worries fall off your shoulders.
Then, we will identify what you’re seeking from your therapeutic journey and create a plan to support your individualized goals, including in- and out-of-session tasks.
Finally, we will leave room for you to say whatever you want to say, in the way you want to say it, while being your whole self.We customize your therapeutic journey to you and how you would like to use the space. Let’s get started!

Hi, I’m Kristin McCloud, LMSW
Helping others live intentionally became my goal.
Growing up, I was an only child in a single parent home.
My grandfather assisted at first, but by age 12, I was a full-blown latchkey kid. I know the reality of feeling alone. I was the isolated, bullied, overweight, nerdy girl. Positive self-thoughts? WHERE? Finding anything positive about myself was hard for me, so I relied on the world to tell me who I was. I didn’t believe I was worthy of being curious about myself.
No one should have to endure that, but it made me passionate about partnering with individuals to push through periods of stagnation and tackle life’s challenges.
At the core of my client work is the desire to support people in exploring themselves and how they show up in the world.
I graduated from UT Martin in 2014 with my B.S. in Psychology and went on to earn my MSW from USC in 2020.
I became an LMSW in 2021. I have served in various settings, from residential treatment centers for adolescents to juvenile detention centers, community mental health clinics, and inpatient psychiatric hospitals.
My purpose is to provide individuals with a space to experience safety over shame, curiosity over criticism, and grace over guilt.
I firmly believe that everyone can bounce back from life’s difficulties when given the right tools and support. I would love the opportunity to assist you in cultivating the life you desire.
Here, you have an understanding audience.
I am here to help you find balance that is rooted in your true identity.
I have watched people at their lowest, create something beautiful with their lives. There is no starting point that is too low or too dark to break through.
I will walk alongside you as you achieve greatness and fulfill your hopes and dreams.
Outside of Work…
I truly am the definition of a homebody.
When I have free time, I enjoy deep conversations with my friends. Music is like my heartbeat; it will always be playing in the background.
Fun fact: as a teen, I knew that I’d be a therapist one day.
No one could tell me otherwise. Once I did it, my next stop was a hairstylist.
Although I didn’t go to cosmetology school, I did become a licensed hair braider.
