All therapists must endure clinical internships/practicums for one year in order to ensure readiness. It takes practice to take what is learned in a book and apply it to the real world. As You Are Therapy is a proud supervisor of onsite and virtual professionals that are close to completing their Masters at MTSU or UT or Belmont, and a few other online schools. The interns on staff will be working with clients and getting ongoing supervision, guidance, and support from Dr. Bryant. They are fully able to provide counseling to clients, maintain records, and collect information.
Hi, I’m Amanda Bryant, CMHC Intern Capella University
Starting therapy can feel intimidating. Maybe you’ve been thinking about it for a while but weren’t sure what to expect or if it would even help. My goal is to make that first step feel a little easier. You don’t have to have all the answers when you walk in the door. Together, we’ll figure things out at your pace.
My Path To Counseling.
I’ve always been fascinated by what makes people tick, how experiences, relationships, and emotions shape who we become. That curiosity led me to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa, where I also studied Mental Health and Family Studies.
Before becoming a counseling intern, I worked for years as a psychological testing technician. I spent my days administering assessments and listening to people share parts of their lives between questions. What I found was that many just wanted someone to listen, really listen. When former clients started returning just to update me on their progress, I knew I was meant to do more than administer tests. I wanted to walk alongside people as they worked toward change.
About Therapy With Me
Therapy with me is collaborative and compassionate, but also grounded in accountability. I believe in creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and real. You can expect:
A Judgment-Free Zone: This is your space to show up fully, however that looks.
A Balance of Warmth and Honesty: I’ll always meet you with empathy, but I’ll also challenge you when it matters.
Room for Growth (and Maybe a Little Laughter): Healing doesn’t have to be heavy all the time. There’s space for humor, curiosity, and hope here.
My work is centered around helping people feel seen and understood, especially those who’ve spent a long time taking care of everyone else or feeling unheard in their own story.
Outside the Office.
I’m a creative at heart. When I’m not studying or meeting with clients, you’ll usually find me painting, baking, or trying out new recipes. I love spending time with my family, friends, and my corgi, Olive, who never fails to make me laugh. Video games and quiet evenings are my go-to recharge time, because I’ve learned that taking care of yourself isn’t optional, it’s essential.

Hi, I’m Morgan Fuerbacher, M.Ed Candidate & Counseling Intern Vanderbilt University
Starting therapy can feel like stepping into the unknown. Maybe you’ve been carrying a lot on your own, unsure of how to talk about it or where to even begin. My job is to make that first step feel less overwhelming. You don’t need to have everything figured out, we’ll explore it together, at a pace that feels safe and doable for you.
My Path To Counseling.
I’ve always been interested in people, specifically what motivates them, what scares them, and how their experiences shape the way they move through the world. That curiosity led me to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Loyola University Maryland, where I also grew deeply interested in how the mind and body respond to stress, expectations, and pressure.
As a Division I athlete, I learned firsthand what dedication looks like… and what it costs. I know the weight of perfectionism, the fear of falling short, and the pressure to perform even when you’re exhausted. The competitor in me always wanted to succeed. My background and experiences shaped my desire to help others who feel stuck in similar patterns, people who want to grow, achieve, and live fully, but keep running into the same internal barriers.
Now, at Vanderbilt University, I’m pursuing my Master’s of Education in Human Development Counseling, expanding my skills so I can support clients with compassion, insight, and practical tools for real change.
About Therapy With Me
Therapy with me is grounded, collaborative, and deeply human. You won’t be expected to show up as the “put-together” version of yourself- just the real one.
Here’s what you can expect when we work together:
A space where perfection isn’t required.
Show up messy, unsure, overwhelmed, or drained… it’s all welcome.
Support with honesty.
I’ll always meet you with empathy, but I’ll also gently challenge the patterns and beliefs keeping you stuck.
A focus on performance, pressure, and self-worth.
Whether it’s perfectionism, burnout, anxiety, fear of failure, or the pressure to achieve, we’ll explore what drives it and work toward healthier ways of moving through your world.
Small steps, big shifts.
Therapy doesn’t require a complete overhaul, just a willingness to start. Look at you already taking this step to find a counselor!
My passion is helping people who are used to pushing themselves finally slow down, tune in, and understand what they actually need, not just what they think they “should” be doing. My hope is that you feel more grounded after our sessions.
Outside the Office.
I’m happiest when I’m on the move. Long drives, working out or doing yoga, and finding small pockets of adventure help me clear my head and stay connected to what matters most. I love spending time with the people who feel like home, listening to music, and discovering new dinner spots along the way.
Movement, curiosity, and balance keep me grounded, and those same values guide the way I show up for my clients.

Hi, I’m Kerrick Coble, CMHC Intern Lake Forest University
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you’re not sure what to expect. My goal is to create a space where you feel respected, supported, and heard. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, and I strive to build strong therapeutic relationships that help clients feel comfortable exploring their challenges and working toward meaningful change.
My Path To Counseling.
I’ve always been fascinated by the brain, human behavior, and what motivates people to grow and thrive. That curiosity led me to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where I also worked as a research assistant supporting studies on human behavior and mental health.
While I enjoyed the research process, I realized my passion was working directly with people and supporting them through their healing journeys. I was drawn to the opportunity to help individuals better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and move toward greater wellness.
Today, I am pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wake Forest University. My training continues to deepen my understanding of how to support clients through evidence-based, compassionate care while honoring each person’s unique experiences and goals.

Empathy and Understanding: I strive to create an environment where you feel seen, heard, and valued.
Authentic Connection: I show up as my genuine self and encourage you to do the same.
Holistic Perspective: I believe wellness involves caring for the mind, body, and overall well-being, and I take an approach that considers the whole person. My goal is to help you build a stronger understanding of yourself while creating a path toward the life you want to live.
Outside the Office.
When I’m not counseling, you’ll often find me staying active through weightlifting, swimming, or hiking. I also enjoy reading historical books and psychological thrillers, spending time with family and friends, and unwinding with reality TV. These activities help me stay balanced and grounded so I can show up fully for the people I work with.

Hi, I’m Jasmine Divinity, MSW Intern University of Tennessee

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming. Maybe you’ve been carrying a lot on your own, trying to hold everything together while feeling disconnected from yourself. You may know something needs to change but aren’t sure where to begin. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable slowing down, exploring your experiences, and gaining a deeper understanding of yourself. You don’t need to have all the answers, we’ll figure it out together.
My Path To Counseling.
My interest in psychology began in high school when I took my first psychology course and became fascinated by human behavior, emotions, and relationships. I quickly realized the power of self-awareness and how understanding ourselves can create meaningful change.
As someone who has experienced the pressure of being an overachiever and perfectionist, I understand the desire to succeed while also trying to find balance. Over time, I’ve learned that growth isn’t just about accomplishing more…it’s about becoming more connected to yourself.
This passion led me to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Business from Vanderbilt University. Before becoming a counseling intern, I worked as a group therapist supporting individuals navigating complex trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and major life transitions. During that time, I witnessed the power of feeling truly seen, heard, and supported.
Today, I am pursuing my Master of Social Work at the University of Tennessee, where I continue developing the skills to help clients better understand themselves, process difficult experiences, and create meaningful change.
About Therapy With Me
Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in genuine connection. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you better understand yourself, identify patterns, and develop tools that support your goals.
Here’s what you can expect when we work together:
A space where you don’t have to have it all together.
You don’t need to show up with the perfect words or a clear plan. Therapy is a place to slow down, process, and focus on yourself.
Understanding before changing.
Together, we’ll explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences. Self-awareness creates the foundation for lasting growth.
Warmth, honesty, and gentle challenge.
I’ll meet you with empathy and support while also helping you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Room for humor and humanity.
Healing can be hard work, but it doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. I believe therapy should feel authentic, supportive, and human. My goal is to help you build confidence, strengthen relationships, navigate life’s challenges, and create a life that feels aligned with your values.
Outside the Office.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me weightlifting, doing Pilates, hiking, walking my dog, or exploring new restaurants and art galleries. I also enjoy painting, creative projects, and finding new experiences that spark curiosity. I’ve learned that growth isn’t just about achieving more, it’s also about knowing when to slow down, reflect, and care for yourself. These same values guide the way I show up with my clients: with curiosity, authenticity, and compassion.
