When holding it together gets heavy
Life doesn’t slow down just because you’re tired. You can be capable, caring, and committed, and still feel overwhelmed, depleted, or stuck. Struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing; it means you’re human.
I work with people who are carrying a lot (emotionally, mentally, relationally), and need a space where they don’t have to perform strength anymore. Therapy with me is a place to set the armor down and breathe.
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, past trauma, or challenges in your relationships, it can feel like you’re stuck in patterns that are impossible to break. You may wonder if anything will ever feel “normal” again or if healthy relationships are even possible.

A Space Where You Don’t have to Be “The Strong One”
At the core of my work is a belief that healing begins when you’re allowed to be honest. Honest about what hurts, what feels confusing, and what you’ve been holding in alone.
My approach is person-centered, meaning you are the expert on your life. I walk alongside you using evidence-based tools drawn from CBT, DBT, ACT, and narrative therapy to help you better understand your patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and reconnect with your strengths.
I aim to reduce stigma around mental health and create a space where vulnerability is not only welcome, it’s respected.
My approach is a “personalized” therapeutic journey
My approach to therapy is collaborative, personalized, and rooted in authenticity. I believe meaningful change begins when you’re able to be honest with yourself and with someone who will meet you exactly where you are. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, understand how they developed, and build practical, realistic strategies that support growth and confidence.
Our work allows space for the full range of human experience. Laughter is welcome, it can be a powerful release and a source of connection. Tears are welcome too. Healing can be uncomfortable at times, and insight often comes alongside vulnerability. Through open conversation, reflection between sessions, and evidence-based practices, we’ll create tools that fit your life, not someone else’s expectations.
Your experiences are complex, layered, and uniquely yours. Therapy with me starts without judgment or pressure to perform. Our work is guided by curiosity and self-discovery, helping you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so you can respond to life with greater intention and self-compassion.
I tailor treatment using evidence-based approaches that align with your needs and goals, including:
-
Mindfulness and grounding techniques
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) strategies
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) principles
-
Boundary setting and healthy communication skills
-
Self-care practices and holistic wellness tools
-
Trauma-informed interventions such as TF-CBT
Each session is designed to be a safe, supportive space where you can speak openly, explore what matters most, and leave with practical strategies you can use both in and outside of therapy. My goal is to help you feel more empowered, connected, and capable as you move forward.

Hi, I’m Siarra Jenkins, LPC-MHSP (Temp)
Why I do this work?
Growing up, I knew first hand what it felt like to wear the mask. Maybe too frequently… using it to stay in the “in” crowd, set myself on the right path, and create a good future. I navigated the transitions well, but sometimes there was uncertainty of whether or not I understood myself. These experiences left me with the passion to help others unveil their masks and also shaped my desire to help others find stability, security, and self-awareness in their lives. Now, a day in the life looks like help children, adults, and families by tap into their inner strength, navigate life’s transitions, and find the tools and confidence to live authentically. Therapy isn’t about perfection; it’s about clarity, growth, and showing up as your real self.
Outside the office
I engage in regular self-care practices such as traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, reading books, watching podcasts, and exercising. I enjoy this line of work because I know how it feels to carry the “strong” facade for so long, to put other needs in front of our own, and how overwhelming it is to try to live up to the “perfectionist” title that really is self-doubt in disguise. I want to reduce that shame and negative self-talk by using my experiences along with evidence-based interventions to help my clients feel more empowered and ready to take on life challenges in a healthy manner.
