Comfort and Ease
You’ve decided that therapy is your next step on your healing journey.
However, after all that life requires of you, the idea of driving to someone’s office is exhausting.
Are you trying to find the time to make it happen?
Maybe your morning or evening routine is so sacred that you’d rather do therapy during lunch. Perhaps you’re a busy parent. With all your kids’ activities, there is little time for you. Want to have a session in your car while you’re waiting for practice to be over?
Maybe true comfort only happens in the space of your own home. If that is you, virtual care is for you!
Easy, breezy, and convenient. When our session ends, you close your computer and return to the hustle and bustle.
Connection and Convenience
So, you want to work with me but realize I no longer live in California. No problem!
Or you live miles away, which isn’t a drivable distance. Or, you live close, but the idea of driving to the office doesn’t make you giddy. No problem!
Or maybe therapy during your lunch break at work is the best fit for your life.
Removing barriers is my bread and butter. Online therapy is the answer to all of your problems. It is available to all residents of California and Tennessee.
How do you set up an online therapy session?
It starts with the free 15-minute initial consultation to explore what brings you to therapy, your goals, and ensure we are a good fit.
Then, we will move forward with scheduling. I’ll send you documents to fill out and sign electronically via SimplePractice. Payment will be made electronically through the platform as well.
Guidelines to Follow
Make sure you have reliable Wi-Fi, data, or signal. This is PARAMOUNT because without it the flow of the session will be interrupted. Therapy is all about being seen and heard, so this is a must.
Find a quiet place to sit for our sessions. Popular places include the following:
- Bedroom – with the door closed
- Car – if your house is full of family or you want to meet during your lunch break, this is a great option for privacy. Make sure you have parked somewhere near reliable Internet or a good spot for data use.
- Backyard – close enough to home, so you can use the Wi-Fi but also out of earshot from the family, kids, or partner.
Be flexible. Technology sometimes sucks, so you may have to endure dropped calls, frozen screens, or video delays.
Easy access for the help you need…
With the option of online therapy, distance or laziness is not even a problem.
We will meet regardless of the “reason,” and you will be able to work on yourself and get the support you need from someone who understands even though we aren’t in the same room or location.
